Nanobarcoding: Topological Transformation‐Based Nanobarcoding for Detection and Enumeration of MicroRNAs and Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (Adv. Biosys. 7/2019)
Abstract:In article number 1900013, Soong Ho Um and co‐workers report a new topological transformation‐based nanobarcoding technique for the detection and enumeration of short RNAs like microRNAs and their single nucleotide polymorphisms. The RNA from tissue or plasma specifically binds to the side edge of the DNA triangle prism structures on graphene oxide layers, instantly leading to induced fluorescence barcoded emissions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
