Nano-sized strontium titanate metal oxide semiconductor oxygen gas sensors

Abstract: I'm extremely grateful to my supervisor A/Prof. Tan Ooi Kiang for suggesting me this interesting area, and his invaluable guidance, efficient planning, constructive criticism during the whole period of my research work. His foresight and methodology have given me a very rewarding and lasting experience in the whole course of the work. I'm greatly indebted to my co-supervisor Dr. Pan Jisheng for his inspiration and guidance. I would also thank Prof. Zhu Weiguang for his useful suggestions and encouragements. I … Show more

“…Hydrothermal treatment is a technique to crystallize aqueous solutions at high vapour pressures in an autoclave. It has been used widely for making highly crystalline ceramic powders at low temperature in the range of 160-300 °C [35] [25,70] The Ball Milling is a mechanical alloying process where powder mixture in the ball mill is broken down into small particles when subjected to high energy collision. Mechanical alloying, as its name suggests involves rotational movements controlled by a motor with a rotating shaft and belt.…”
