Nano-bio-optomechanics: nanoaperture tweezers probe single nanoparticles, proteins, and their interactions

Abstract: Nanoparticles in the single digit nanometer range can be easily isolated and studied with low optical powers using nanoaperture tweezers. We have studied individual proteins and their interactions with small molecules, DNA and antibodies.
