Name game: the naming history of the chemical elements—part 1—from antiquity till the end of 18th century

Abstract: The aim of the series of the three articles entitled “Name game…” is to present the historical information about nomenclature history of every known chemical element. The process of naming each chemical element is analyzed, with particular emphasis on the first publication with a given name.
