NAD+-Consuming Enzymes in the Regulation of Lung Immune Responses

Abstract: Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) plays a role as a coenzyme in numerous oxidation-reduction reactions and mediates not only energy metabolism and mitochondrial functions, but also calcium homeostasis, aging, and cell death.
