Abstract: This paper attempts to provide a descriptive analysis of the newly coined [Ν. + Ν.] compound lexemes in Constantine Manasses's Synopsis Chronike (12th cent.) with a view to tracing the innovations and similarities to the Ancient Greek compound system.
