Abstract: Parasitic side reactions and dendrites formation hinder the application of aqueous zinc ion batteries due to inferior cycling life and low reversibility. Against this background, N‐methyl formamide (NMF), a multi‐function electrolyte additive is applied to enhance the electrochemical performance.
