“…An appropriate electrocatalyst‐electrolyte combination may help drive the selectivity of the water oxidation reaction toward H 2 O 2 instead of O 2 thus allowing for the sustainable electrochemical production of two valuable commodities (H 2 and H 2 O 2 ) during water electrolysis. This present work at the anode may also be integrated with the two‐electron oxygen reduction reaction (2e − ORR) at the cathode, [44−48] to achieve high rate electrosynthesis of H 2 O 2 at both electrodes using a single pass of charge.
