N‐Donor Ligand Coordination Polymers of CuII, ZnII, and CdII Obtained at Elevated Temperature and Pressure

Abstract: Reactions of Copper(II), Zinc(II), and Cadmium(II) nitrate with 2,4,6‐tris(dipyridin‐2‐ylamino)‐1,3,5‐triazine (dpyatriz) at elevated temperature and pressure lead to new 1D coordination polymers which exhibit solid‐state structures significantly different from those obtained at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. In addition, these coordination compounds exhibit unusual anion–π interactions. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2005)
