Abstract:In order to study the effect of glycosylation on its biological activities and to develop tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFalpha) with less deleterious effects, N-acetylneuraminic acid (NeuAc) with a C9 spacer was chemically coupled to human recombinant TNFalpha.
