“…Wound myofibroblasts (Wmyos) are cells that appear during this phase and differentiate mainly from fibroblasts (Desmouliere et al 1993; Hinz 2016) triggered by environmental factors such as inflammatory cell‐secreted transforming growth factor‐ß (TGFß1) (Postlethwaite et al 2004).
