Myocardial infarction induced by caseous mitral annular calcification: a case report

Abstract: Background Caseous mitral annular calcification (CMAC) is a rare variant of mitral annular calcification. Symptoms can be related to mitral valvular dysfunction, arterial embolization and transient aortic outflow tract obstruction.
