Abstract: SummaryMyeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) are characterized by a clonal proliferation of myeloid lineage cells within the bone marrow. The classical BCR‐ABL negative MPNs are comprised of polycythaemia vera, essential thrombocythaemia and primary myelofibrosis.
