Mycological Profile of Dermatophytes

Abstract: Aims: Dermatophytoses are commonest type of fungal infections seen in human beings, invading keratinised tissue skin, hair and nails by keratinophilic fungi. Dermatophytoses can be treated effectively by antifungals.
