Online employee training requires a good training platform to be more efficient. Therefore, this study aims to: 1) analyze the need for developing a Learning Management System (LMS); 2) develop an LMS; 3) test the feasibility of an LMS; and 4) understand employees perceptions of developed LMS for online automotive employee training. This research is development research with 4D models, consists of 4 main steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data were collected from 70 automotive industry employees using a questionnaire. Product testing involved 5 experts in vocational education, information technology, and learning media. The data were analyzed through qualitative analysis and quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that, first, LMS needs to have an attractive appearance, simple, elegant, complete, neat, and structured menus, downloadable materials, updated logos, notifications, delivery status, separation of materials and questions, clear images, animation, and various learning media. Second, LMS results are developed without using the available platforms but as needed by customizing the web. Third, the LMS is feasible by fulfilling aspects of convenience, appearance, content arrangement, interaction, ease of monitoring, and facilitating independent learning. Finally, most employees consider that the LMS developed follows their needs, career development, and utilization in the workplace.

Student interactions with the devices and software used can result in excessive mental workload, which of course also has an impact on decreasing productivity and work functions and indirectly harms student health, as well as student interactions in using the Learning Management System (LMS). Which is expected to continue to be utilized and developed to achieve greater convenience and profit, LMS is expected to continue to be developed and utilized optimally. This study is intended to analyze the mental workload felt by students in the learning process through LMS. An experimental ergonomics approach is used in this study by applying the modified NASA-TLX method. The results of the research experiment show that students feel a high mental workload when using the assignment module, quiz module, and forum module on the LMS, these modules produce a high mental workload due to cognitive difficulty, instruction complexity, and work habits.

This research evaluated the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) designed for the Functional Distance Learning (DL) of Basic Tax Instructor. The object of study is the four classes of Basic Tax Instructor Functional DL at Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Pontianak, and Manado, Indonesia. The primary data were obtained from questionnaires submitted to 115 participants and the secondary data in the form of graduation data. The research method is descriptive qualitative. An essential finding of this study is that the LMS is good, easier to access, to learn, provides complete, real-time, has a nice and attractive look, creative, engaging, and accessible. The problem with accessing the LMS is signal/network issues. For improving it, some participants suggest the LMS make it more attractive, always updated, more easy to access, added some feature, accessible for all the time, it integrated with institution learning center (Kemenkeu Learning Center), and make more simple.
