“…We also confirmed tribenuron-methyl-resistant flixweed accessions with different Pro197 mutations exhibited different cross-resistance patterns to AHAS-inhibiting herbicides (Deng et al 2014). In this study, we identified and purified a flixweed assession (HB25) with an Asp-376-Glu mutation, which was firstly reported by Xu et al (2015). Therefore, there is no research on the cross-resistance patterns and biochemical mechanisms of flixweed accessions with Asp-376-Glu mutation to AHAS-inhibiting herbicides.…”

“…Tribenuron-methyl (TBM), an SU herbicide, was produced by the Dupont Company in the early 1980s and introduced to China in 1988 [16]. At present, TBM is used in broadleaf weed control across wheat fields in China and accounts for over half of the total herbicide usage due to its high efficacy at low dosage, low effect on nontarget organisms and high selectivity [17]. However, conventional rapeseed varieties are sensitive to TBM due to the lack of resistant genes.…”
