The most-high matter of COVID-19 in West Sumatera Province was found in Padang City. Some researchers argue that the environment greatly influences contagion of COVID-19. This research aims to anatomize the COVID-19 climate environment in Padang City in the period March 16th 2020 – May 20th 2022. The study used secondary data in the form of COVID-19 surveillance data, namely the number of patients who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 from the Padang City Health Office and the climate from the Meteorology and Climatology Agency of Padang City. Weather elements include maximum temperature (°C), minimum temperature (°C), average temperature (°C), humadity (%), and rainfall (mm). Data analysis used pearson correlation. The result of the study indicated that minimum temperature and rainfall had a significant relationship to positive matters of COVID-19 in Padang City which were marked with p-values of 0.004 and 0.

Background: Toddlers and children under 12 are still easily sick, particularly during the COVID-19 epidemic. The high number of COVID-19 cases in toddlers and children in Central Java Province must be monitored to prevent transmission to toddlers and children still susceptible to the disease. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to map the spread of COVID-19 cases in toddlers aged 0-5 years and children aged 6-11 years in the province of Central Java using the K-means cluster Methods: This was a descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional design. Data on COVID-19 cases in children 6-11 years and toddlers 0-5 years from 35 cities in Central Java in 2020-2021 were analyzed using the K-means cluster. The K-means cluster was used to cluster low, medium, and high cases and then map the spread of COVID-19. Results: Semarang, Semarang Regency, Boyolali, Klaten, Surakarta, and Banyumas became high cluster areas in cases of COVID-19 toddlers and children in 2021. Based on the mapping data, COVID-19 spread in young children and toddlers in 2020 and 2021 followed a nearly identical pattern. The high zone of COVID-19 in toddlers and children mostly had a higher total population, healthcare facilities, and population density than the medium and low zones. Conclusion: Semarang City, Semarang Regency, Boyolali, Klaten, Surakarta, and Banyumas should be looking for COVID-19 cases in toddlers and young children.

Covid-19 pandemic has been going on for approximately two years in Indonesia. During the pandemic, COVID-19 virus has undergone many mutations. mutation process produces new variants, where the latest variant that has been discovered is known as the Omicron variant. This variant has a very rapid transmission rate. To overcome the problem of Omicron distribution, it is necessary to analyze the distribution through mathematical modeling. This research uses literature study method related to omicron, especially modeling using vaccination control. Study will analyze SLIR model of the spread of the omicron variant of covid with vaccination control. Formed model will be analyzed by determining equilibrium, stability and continued with the addition of controls and then numerically simulated. Model has four subpopulations, namely Susceptible, Latent, Infected, and Recovery with the addition of migration parameters in the Susceptible and Latent subpopulations to form a system of nonlinear differential equations. The results of the analysis of this model have two equilibrium points, namely the disease-free and endemic equilibrium points. Stability of the disease-free equilibrium point will be stable when . And the endemic stability meets and so that it is concluded that it is asymptotically stable. And with the addition of control in the form of vaccination, if vaccination can be carried out massively for at least 100 days, then the number of infected individuals can be controlled properly and the reduction in migration parameters obtained can minimize the number of latent and infected populations in Omicron sufferers so that the spread of disease can be controlled and the impact of the spread disease can be minimized.
