“…HCB is not directly used in agriculture, but it is a byproduct of some pesticide production and can be released into the environment by leachates or formed during the incineration processes (Binelli and Provini 2003). The concentration range of t-CHL was 0.055-0.297 ng g −1 , which was lower than the concentration (0.17-9.91 ng g −1 ) reported by Fung et al (2004) in the east coast of China and the concentration (nd-2.28 ng g −1 ) reported by Jin et al (2008) in the northeastern coast of China.
