Abstract:The antibacterial potential of the Muntingia calabura mucilage is evaluated with bacterial strain of Bacillus cereus, Proteus vulgaris, Salmonella typhi and Staphylococcus aureus. The ethanolic extract of the Muntingia calabura mucilage is performed and applied for the grape fruits as a natural coater.
