The article reviews the results of an author's study with the aim of exploring the needs and expectations of Russian citizens when they reach retirement age in view of changing status and role positions. The focus is on studying the social and psychological conditions that accompany the aging process, analyzing the reasons for the termination of employment, the evaluation of the life orientations of today's retirees. The study included a survey of 437 people who reached the retirement age and 20 in-depth interviews with pensioners. As a result, the authors confirmed the hypotheses about the dominant influence of the current "culture of caring and helping children" on the target setting in the "third age" that determine the decision to terminate or continue working. A modern pensioner is in a constant choice between work, "caring" and "life for oneself." The hypothesis concerning the concept of successful aging for the Russian pensioner has not found its confirmation in the course of the study. The study identified the following reasons for the termination / continued employment upon reaching retirement age:-health status;-the desire to live for themselves;-a reduction in the organization;-there is no one to sit with their grandchildren, /-the sense of the importance of their professional activities;-have the strength and desire to continue to work and live as before retirement;-the need to help their children and grandchildren;-fear;-the inability to live on a pension. It was found that the pensioner is perceived as an assistant, supporting children in the education of grandchildren. The degree of independence in making a decision to change the social status affects the satisfaction of the pensioner with his new status and life in connection with the termination of employment. In the current socioeconomic conditions, the Russians are among Asian model "respect for old age and elderly" and the European model of personal needs and "expectations deferred". Therefore in most cases, modern pensioner in Russia performs the role of the staff in the family or at work.

Interaction of educational process participants in network online-space: the trends of new media reality development

The modern development of digital technologies, the transfer of communicative interaction on most socially important issues into a network online space, initiates the growth of citizens' appeals to various forums, blogs, social networks, etc. The availability and depersonalization of the network online space open unlimited opportunities for participants to develop a media reality. The authors set the goal of the study -to determine the key characteristics of educational process participant interaction in the context of a new media reality, to analyze the specifics and the themes of their appeals within the network online space. The main method of research was a qualitative analysis of Internet forum media texts devoted to the discussion of school education. In the course of the study, it was found that the trends of a new media reality development are ambivalent ones. Positive changes include the increase of contact frequency, a higher level of parent involvement in school education issue solution, the increase of awareness about the problems of their children. However, for many parents, the search for problem solutions is shifting from real communication practices with teachers and administration to artificially formed social groups. The opportunities for the replication and dissemination of one's own opinions through the online space is a testimony to their own competence for parents, an indirect factor of a teacher authority reduction. The authors revealed that in the context of a new media reality, the criticism of teacher actions, their professional and moral qualities is increased more and more. The increase of media competence level among Internet users, the development of information selection and analysis skills will contribute to the development of media text critical perception.

The purposes of this article are problem analysis of social infrastructure in Russia; investigation of conditions and factors in governmental and local administration, which define development parameters of it; case study about the adequacy of high centralized governmental power when solving problems of social infrastructure. In this article, there is a proposed development strategy of social infrastructure, expert interview (local authorities of Russia), and local people interview. As a result of the investigation, today's development level of social infrastructure in Russia rated by local authorities and local people is very low. Development limitations of social infrastructure in modern Russia are due to, first of all, problems of institutional imbalances: Narrowing autonomy of local selfadministration because of the absence of effective resource support to its activity, deformation within relationships between regional and federal authorities, uncertainty specifics of municipal property, a crisis of public confidence in government. Points for practitioners: Social infrastructure defines the level and quality of population lives, which is why development strategy is considered as one of the important factors and has a high priority in governmental and municipal politics in democratic countries, analysis of those specific problems, reflects undoubted interest for scientists and practitioners. Comparative analysis of administrative practices, a study of Russian experience helps to form activity directions of governmental and local authorities in a more effective way to assist the development of social infrastructure.
