Multivariate Regression in Conjunction with GA-BP for Optimization of Data Processing of Trace NO Gas Flow in Active Pumping Electronic Nose

Abstract: Exhaled nitric oxide trace gas at the ppb level is a biomarker of human airway inflammation. To detect this, we developed a method for the collection of active pumping electronic nose bionic chamber gas. An optimization algorithm based on multivariate regression (MR) and genetic algorithm–back propagation (GA-BP) was proposed to improve the accuracy of trace-level gas detection. An electronic nose was used to detect NO gas at the ppb level by substituting breathing gas with a sample gas. The impact of the pump… Show more

“…Figure 3d illustrates how aging affects the sensor's baseline resistance R 0 and the resistance R S in the presence of ammonia, resulting in minor changes that can alter the response of the sensor. • Additionally, the effect of airflow on the sensor is a critical factor [39,40]. Previous studies have shown that a sensor's response is linked to the flow velocity of dynamic airflow.…”

“…The training results of the GA-BP neural network are presented in Figure 14. In the region of α ∈ [0°, 30°], β ∈ [0°, 30°], and γ ∈ [0°, 180°], 100000 points were randomly taken and brought into the GA-BP [13][14] It can be concluded that the error of the GA-BP neural network is almost the same as that of the BP neural network in Euler angle α and β, but the error of γ is less about 50%, and the error distribution is uniform. Although the error of the RBF neural network is smaller in Euler angles α, β and γ, the structure of the RBF neural network is much more complex and inconvenient for subsequent transplantation.…”

“…Tumor-associated macrophages (TAM) are also actively involved in the TME regulation. MDSCs together with proinflammatory cytokines could polarize TAM from the anti-tumor M1 into the pro-tumor M2 subtype ( Sun et al, 2023 ). In CRCs, mutant KRAS positively correlated with the infiltration of TAM.…”
