Abstract:This revision presents applications of multivariate curve resolution alternating least squares (MCR-ALS) applied to chromatographic data. Initially, the fundamentals and recent advances of the MCR-ALS method will be presented. Several critical issues such as data organization, advantages of the modelling, constraints, evaluation of ambiguity and the use for mathematical separation is discussed. An extensive revision of the papers on MCR-ALS applied to chromatographic data reported up to 2020 is presented. A pr… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
