Multiquark cluster model at large Bjorken scaling variable

Abstract: Nuclear quark distribution functions, obtained in the framework of the multiquark cluster model, show that the EMC effect can be explained by taking into account the scattering on colourless multiquark configurations in nuclei. The prediction for the behaviour of the nuclear structure function in the kinematical region X > 1, which has not been sufficiently studied experimentally, is given.
