“…We only want to add two interesting developments which were reported to this conference. Benot and Meunier [39] describe a multiplexed spot focussing C-counter where the mechanical diaphragm is replaced by an optoelectronic detector array in the image plane. This results in a largely increased aperture and allows for simultaneous detection of several particles over a broad velocity range.…”
