Multiple waves of viral invasions in Symbiodiniaceae algal genomes

Abstract: Dinoflagellates from the family Symbiodiniaceae are phototrophic marine protists that engage in symbiosis with diverse hosts. Their large and distinct genomes show pervasive gene duplication and large-scale retroposition events.
