Multiple Noncontiguous Spondylodiscitis Following Mastectomy Secondary to Breast Carcinoma: Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: Background Data: Multiple noncontiguous spontaneous pyogenic spondylodiscitis is rare and has only been explained in the literature by case reports and case series. Purpose: We present a case report of multiple noncontiguous spontaneous spondylodiscitis caused by E. coli involving the cervical and lumbar spine following a mastectomy for breast cancer.
