Multiple Isolated Extramedullary Relapse and Long-term Survival of One AML Patient

Abstract: Background: Granulocytic sarcomas (GS) are very rare. If it occurs after complete remission of acute myeloblastic leukemia(AML), it indicates a recurrence of AML and a poor prognosis. In such cases, relapse of leukemia occurs within a mean of 10 months following granulocytic sarcoma.Case presentation: Here we present an unusual case of 78-year-old male who presented with AML-M1 38 years ago.
