Multiple accessory spleens: Case report and literature review

Abstract: Accessory spleens may be overlooked during splenectomy. Consequently, a second splenectomy may be necessary. This report concerns the occurrence of multiple accessory spleens discovered during routine dissection of a male cadaver.
