Multiparity as a risk factor for congenital toxoplasmosis: a cross-sectional study

Abstract: BackgroundCongenital toxoplasmosis (CT) is caused by placental transfer of Toxoplasma gondii to the fetus, which can generate neurological, neurocognitive deficits, or death.
