“…The intrapuparial development was divided into 12 substages, 6 associated with external morphology using light microscopy and 10 associated, also, with the internal morphology of the pupae, by histological analysis, as previously stated for both Hall and Martín-Vega (2019) and Fraenkel and Bhaskaran (1973) studies, which subsidized the present one, using histology as an important complementary method to determine intrapuparial development phases.
