Multilevel Model of Teachers' Work Performance

Abstract

This study is a multilevel model that relates emotional intelligence as a predictor of job performance and the mediating role of the organizational climate in the job satisfaction of teachers at the Dr. Alfredo Raúl Vera Vera Millennium Educational Unit in the city of Guayaquil. For this purpose, a quantitative, correlational research was developed with the voluntary and anonymous participation of 65 teachers and 3 directors of the institution. The surveys were answered using Google Forms, and then the results were processed in dynamic tables and graphed in bar charts. It was found that, regardless of the context, emotional intelligence is favorably related to job performance and that the work environment moderates the level of job satisfaction of teachers.
