Multilamellar packing of myelin modeled by lipid-bound MBP

Abstract: Membrane compaction and adhesion at the major dense line (cytoplasmic apposition) of myelin, particularly in the central nervous system (CNS), is typically attributed to myelin basic protein (MBP).
