“…261 Apart from as the positive electrodes, PBAs still present excellent negative-electrode performance in LIBs. [262][263][264][265] In conclusion, PBAs-related electrode materials bring an interesting and broad realm of battery chemistry. This section may provide some practical strategies for further advanced research to boost more remarkable charge/discharge performance.…”

“…For cyanide-based MOFs, Prussian blue analogues have also been directly used and provide the added benefit that it is easy to prepare mixed metal MOFs from them. 348 A few groups have also explored the potential for Co-based imidazolates (particularly ZIF-67) for the OER, with little sign of broader structural degradation under alkaline OER conditions. 347,349 ZIF-67 itself is not a particularly good OER catalyst; 349 however, by growing ZIF-67 on Co(OH) 2 , the catalyst activity improved to 280 mV at −10 mA cm −2 .…”

“…A small number of MOF-based materials have emerged as electrocatalysts for water splitting, mainly due to their low electrical conductivity and stability. [12,227,228] 2D MOFs have been demonstrated to have enhanced conductivity and more exposure to active sites. For instance, Duan et al developed a 2D bimetallic MOF on conductive substrates for high-efficiency water electrolysis via a dissolution-crystallization process.…”
