“…In this mineralization system, harbored ALP has been postulated to catalyze the hydrolysis of organic phosphorus grafted on the chains of the mPU polymer, resulting in the generation of inorganic phosphate ions, consequently acting as initiators of mineralization. Few studies have utilized enzymes-loaded MVs for direct mineralization, and the studies of vesicles have substantially introduced crystal nuclei (CaCO 3 , calcium/phosphorus-rich nucleus, HA) to induce the mineralized deposition. Amorphous apatite was observed on these vesicles surface and no significant crystallinity has been testified by TEM and SAED. , In contrast, the CaGP-modified PU has been emulsified and constructed microcompartments in this study that enable a confined space for the regulation of mineral growth.…”
