Multicultural Education in the US: Current Issues and Suggestions for Practical Implementations

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to shed light on the concept of multiculturalism in educational settings in the US. Particularly, it discusses the term multicultural education as well as some of its advantages in education. Also, this paper presents an overview of the history and key dimensions of multicultural education in the US.
