Multi-Objective Reactive Power Optimization for Distribution Networks Based on the Modified Golden Eagle Algorithm

Ying Lan,
Yang Li,
Naizhuo Wang

Abstract: The Golden Eagle algorithm was proposed in 2020 by Abdolkarim et al. and has been applied in several fields. In this paper, we introduce the proposed algorithm to the reactive power optimization problem for distribution networks and develop a dual-objective reactive power optimization model with active network loss and node voltage bias. Logistic chaotic mapping and Levy flights are introduced to improve the original algorithm, which is prone to local optima and slow convergence. Finally, the IEEE30 node syste… Show more
