Multi-Missile Interception Integrating New Guidance Law and Game Theoretic Resource Management

Abstract: Abstract-Traditional missile interception often focuses on simplified scenarios such as one-to-one or multi-to-one interception. Recently, battlefield situations pose new difficulties for missile defense systems, which make traditional interception systems inefficient. The problems revolve around two aspects: 1) The guidance law insufficiency (traditional forms PN, DGL/1, and DGL/C); and 2) Resource management insufficiency. This paper fuses game theoretic resource management and a noise level related guidance… Show more

“…This comparison is between game theoretic resource assignment and random assignment. DGL/M [10][11][12] guidance law is applied for both game theoretic resource assignment approach and random assignment approach in this comparison. Each point is the average of 100 Monte Carlo runs under corresponding µ.…”

“…It must also ensure that the intercepting trajectories are safe and avoid collateral damages. Several approaches have been developed for cooperative attacks as in Rasmussen et al (2004), Le Menec et al (2011), Wei et al (2008. The differences arise mostly on the means of prediction of target behavior and structure of the guidance laws.…”
