Multi-layer laminated Pd-based metallic glass with enhanced plasticity

Abstract: We have demonstrated, for the first time, the enhanced plasticity of multi-layer Pd-based bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) synthesized by thermoplastic bonding (TB). The structural relaxation was minimized by using a low bonding temperature and a very short holding time.
