Multi-hop teleportation ofN-qubit state via Bell states

Abstract: Multi-hop teleportation is a quantum teleportation scheme for transferring quantum states on a large scale. In this paper, a new multi-hop teleportation protocol is investigated for transferring arbitrary N-qubit states between M-neighbor nodes. In this scheme, intermediate nodes are connected with each other by symmetric entangled Bell states as quantum channels. First, one-hop teleportation of single-qubit, two-qubit and N-qubit states are introduced, then this method is generalized to two-hop and multi-hop … Show more

“…It is a technique for transfer of unknown quantum information from one location to a distant location through a previously shared entanglement between the sender and the receiver. Since then, a series of modified quantum teleportation protocols such as controlled teleportation [2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9], bi-directional teleportation [10][11][12][13][14][15][16], probabilistic teleportation [17][18][19][20][21][22], cyclic teleportation [23][24][25][26][27][28], multi-hop teleportation [29][30][31][32][33] and so on were developed in course of the last three decades which are applicable to a very wide variety of quantum states.…”

“…In 2021, Zha et al [49] proposed an optimised multi-hop teleportation protocol for transmitting an unknown four-qubit state. Subsequently, Fatahi [50] investigated a multi-hop teleportation protocol of arbitrary multi-qubit states based on the Bell channels. Particularly, Fu et al [51] proposed a nondestructive multi-hop teleportation scheme for teleporting an unknown single-qudit state via partially entangled Bell pairs.…”
