Multi-Goal Driven Optimization of the Beam in Straight-Side Two-Point Press

Abstract: Traditionally, the beams of mechanical presses are designed and optimized empirically. The empirical design cannot satisfy the increasingly strict requirements on product performance, quality, cost and appearance.
