“…Traditionally, the assessments of solar cookers are based only on laboratory evaluations of the thermal power transferred to the cooker and its efficiency. Such properties alone are insufficient to assess the potential appropriateness of a cooker, which depends also on qualitative and quantitative indicators that are crucial for the social acceptance of the device, as expressed by Pohekar et al It therefore emerges the need to intensify the scientific research on evaluation methodologies of solar cookers, as well as the investigation of approaches for forecasting the performance of solar cookers under different conditions. To this aim, Soria‐Verdugo started proposing a heat transfer model to forecast the performance of a box‐type solar cooker by simulating the operation of the technology under variable external conditions (viz, external temperature and solar radiation).…”

“…PROMETHEE technique has been used by Goumas et al [42], Goumas and Lygerou [43], and Haralambopoulos et al [44] in the work of geothermal project. Pohekar and Ramachandran [45] has used PROMETHEE method for the utilisation of parabolic solar cookers in India. Mladineo et al [46] used PROMETHEE technique to select hydro power plant installation area.…”
