Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Model for the Material Flow of Resonant Wood Production

Abstract: This paper proposes a multi-criteria decision-making model, for the selection and evaluation of the most valuable wooden input-resonant wood. Application of a given model can improve the process of input valuation as well as impact and improve particular economic indicators for the resonant wood manufacturer. We have tried to describe and evaluate the supply chain of resonant wood manufacturing and production of musical instruments. Particular value-added and non-value-added activities have been chosen accordi… Show more

“…From the Web of Science Core Collection, there are 71 papers indexed, where the intersection of topics-environment, sustainability, and net present value evaluation of investments-are studied, mainly in journals like Environmental Studies (17), Energy Fuels (11), Engineering Civil (10), Green Sustainable Science Technology (9), and Construction Building Technology (8). The first paper on the intersection of these three topics was published in 2002, but the yearly number of articles is growing rapidly and reached 11 contributions in 2018.…”

“…The Pareto-front is used for optimizing design in conjunction with costs to provide information in a decision making process [32][33][34][35][36]. The Pareto-front is derived by using the logic that it is not possible to minimize an objective function without increasing another objective function.…”
