Multi-breed genome-wide association study reveals heterogeneous loci associated with loin eye area in pigs

Abstract: Numerous quantitative trait loci (QTL) for loin eye area had been identified by linkage mapping studies, but the lack of their precise position hinders their application in the pig breeding industry.
