Abstract:El mucocele apendicular se define como una dilatación quística de la luz apendicular cuya etiología es obstructiva y produce un acúmulo retrógrado de sustancia mucoide. Es una patología poco frecuente, por lo cual es un hallazgo incidental en la mayoría de los casos.
