Mucins and tumor resistance to chemotherapeutic drugs

Abstract: Epithelial cancer patients not considered eligible for surgical resection frequently benefit from chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is the treatment of cancer with one or combination of cytotoxic or cytostatic drugs.
