Abstract:Objectives: To evaluate ancillary MRI features which may aid the identification of lateral temporal bone cephaloceles (LTBCs). Methods: A retrospective cohort study analysed patients with MRI evidence of surgically confirmed spontaneous LTBCs as defined by intracranial contents traversing the tegmen tympani or mastoideum.
