MR imaging in posterior ischemic optic neuropathy

Abstract: Purpose To present and explain the pathognomonic magnetic resonance (MR) findings in posterior ischemic optic neuropathy (PION). Methods Three patients with the suspicion of PION underwent a MR examination of the anterior visual pathway.
