“…Enfin, si un vaste corpus d'études a montré, dans une perspective épidémiologique, les risques encourus par les jeunes de la rue, surtout les jeunes femmes (Boivin, et collab., 2005;Gomez, Thompson et Barzcyk, 2010;Kidd, et collab., 2013;Feng, et collab., 2013;Ferguson, 2009;Mayock, Corr et O'Sullivan, 2013), quelques initiatives réalisées en mixité ont d'ailleurs mis à profit la participation des jeunes de la rue et ont révélé qu'au-delà du risque, de la vulnérabilité et de la délinquance associés à cette population, ces jeunes peuvent s'inscrire dans des projets porteurs de sens et de transformation pour leur communauté. En se basant sur l'idée que le soutien des pairs peut être un puissant moteur de stratégies d'intervention (Fontaine et Vitaro, 2006;Bellot, Rivard et Greissler, 2010), le Collectif d'intervention par les pairs a offert une aide utile en contexte de sortie de rue ou en soutien aux jeunes qui y sont toujours (Bellot, Rivard et Greissler, 2010).…”
