“…Writing instructors' and librarians' collaboration efforts towards improving student learning of the research and writing process date back to 2003 (Norgaard & Sinkinson, 2017). One example of this collaborative effort comes through partnerships to integrate information literacy (IL) into courses (Black, Crest, & Volland, 2001;D'Angelo & Maid, 2004;Davidson & Crateau, 1998;Holliday & Fagerheim, 2006;O'Connor, Bowles-Terry, & Holliday, 2010;Shonrock, 2006).
