“…To our knowledge, there has not been a single peer-reviewed published study using 6-OHDA to create a sheep model of PD. Lentz and colleagues (2015) developed a novel sheep model of STN-DBS to quantify the stimulation evoked motor behaviour and found low stimulation frequency (5–30 Hz) evoked motor behaviour similar to human tremor or dyskinesia [ 144 ].
